Projects / Lots of pics of Typhoon!
March 12, 2007, 11:20:13 AM
The second picture is a much better shot than the first one. I've been searching for the past couple of hours trying to find this thing. I can't even find the bracket it's attached to. Is there a wire/cable attached to it? Ground connection, maybe?  Sorry I missed it the first time.

Search for cowl panel if you're looking on US sites.
I would also think that 70-81 F-bodies would be the same.

That's a nice wheel. A friend of mine put one a 69 GTO, and it had a good feel to it.

Looks like the screw is still there, so a button might just do the trick.

Ian, if you would like I can check on shipping costs ect. I know Graeme has an on going deal with Andy Mitchell, I can get one to him or whatever. More than happy to help. And thanks for the good words.

If you're going to do a body/spoiler kit on a fox body, go with Saleen.

$25.00 US. Pretty cheap, and yes, pretty common. Sold a few back in the late 80s early 90s when the Grand Nationals were around. When you start having boost issues it's time for a new one.

In your case though, I'd say it's well past minor issues.

The red melted thingy is a wastegate solenoid. GM #1997152. You will find some improved performance once you replace that, and it'll protect from overboost.
Those are definitely some baaaaaad trucks.

Benz's are heavy cars, too. Nice run.

Yea all that. But I was hoping to get deeper through the GM website. No real luck, though.
#21
No record on that for some reason.

This one's from Ohio, but that's about all I can get. Shouldn't be as bad as a California car.
