Run Razor.

Had this little gem recommended to me for minor paint repairs :







First of all touch up the stone chip or scratch, let the paint harden for a day or two and then very carefully removed the excess.
Finish off with some T Cut and then a good polish and Bob's your uncle

Remember the combs with a razor built in that used to be advertised in the 80's?  "why pay a barber, cut your hair yourself at home and save £££s!!"

I bet you'll see the same sort of results from this gizmo - lots of unwanted bald patches lol

Hence the reason I said :

I backed the blade right off, then adjusted it downwards a quarter turn each stroke and made sure that I kept it facing the same way each cut

you can also do just the same shaving, with a brand new sharp stanley knife blade....

you just pass it over the run /blob at around 90 deg to the panel..
