nope, you can never own just one alfa..cant have too much of a good thing.

Quoting: a very sensible person
But the key is that a good Alfa is more than the sum of its parts (fortunate, in many cases). It looks good, it feels good. It makes you feel good. It's more than just an appliance. And that is why every true enthusiast should own one at some point - because it is the essence of why cars are more than just transport

Matyn, you know you want it.... looks VERY clean, change the cam belt and balancer belt, and it should be a decent car

The Alpha hating in this place is strong...

HardRockCamaro

Only because Phil buys one even after we tell him it'll explode, and then shortly after buying it ends up on the side of the M1 because it, well, exploded.

He saw the error of his ways though and bought another one, but this time listening to his own advice and paying a lot more for a well cared for example.

And then spent a small fortune on it...

But to be fair this one hasn't exploded.

Yet...

Yet..
You youngsters just love to tempt fate don't you

Alfas are one of the most beautiful cars ever designed, most of them epitomise coolness - but they are shite, they break, hideously expensive to fix and rarely stay fixed for long. In a word, they are crap. But look good.

VIPER

Mate left me his Alfa GTV or what ever its called... same but soft top..

It was an Italian LHD V6  sounded nice and had quite good MPG for the oil consuption......... failed the MOT on about 10 electrical faults.... Rather have a pink micra

FUBAR

In a word.

"No".

Sorry Phillis but its such an ugly car
It's the time that we kill that keeps us alive...

odd, they are widely regarded as one of the prettiest cars made in the last 50 years....

in the eye of the beholder an all that i suppose....

not really, nothing you wouldn't expect from a BMW of the same age and mileage.

A staunch BMW fan I used to work with drove it, and commented how solid and well built it felt. the Mustnag by comparison was far far more flimsy

Fieldy

I have never liked this model.... I think it looked dated from the start, but just my opinion....

Your's looks nicer

Although the GTV is sooooo pretty, It actualy wouldn't be my 1st choice either, I prefer larger cars.. for a sports car, a black GT or Brera is where its at for me..
GT...

Brera..

Pod

The headlights on the Brera are really cool.

However, I've never really seen an Alfa I'd want myself and most of them are fairly ugly. Particularly the one in the advert at the top and whatever the new one on the adverts is called.
