We do tend to get a bit of variety at the South Bucks meet.

I know last year we had a Ferrari one night, a vintage Porsche a couple of interesting bikes and my friends who turned up in their Fiestas (XR2 and a MkI rat look (currently for sale))

I go on about Mondys too much simply because it's me only car! I have geek'd up on it the last couple of years through maintenance and having friends who owns them asking for help.

That XK8 looks the nuts though! The hairdresser I go to has two and she has the audacity to tell me how hard work is (both 4.0 V8's)

the XK8 is one of the all time greats. true to form, like all great cars, they have some serious flaws (google XK8 nikasil) but its an absolutely stunning car. I do love a good XR2 as well..

I'd have one in a heartbeat.

the Maserati beneath it is something I am determined to own at some point in my life (hopefully in the next few years) Maserati is a marque oozing in history and cool.

In that vein, we felt that keeping it a 'car' club kept it interesting

VZi is a lot like this place, everyone knows everything about classic VWs, so after a while it is nice to see something different.

This is a good example of a 'different' car thread on VZi that is running at the moment:

This actually came up for sale on VZi recently:

Well not that exact one as the image has been taken down, but a Tempo Matador - very cool.

I also have an unexplained recent interest in Ladas

This is also nice, just sayin'

I come here more for the people really (yeah that's right, I hate you), I consider MKB a car enthusiast site with a slant towards American vehicles. Although, as much as I like American stuff, I'd be a little bored if that was all we were allowed to talk about. I like the varity of discussion, projects, pictures, jokes and FB's daily snippet of information
1968 VW T2 Bay Bus (currently being restored and upgraded)
1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ (modern classic daily driver)

That's made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

I think the best thing about this place is how far off topic threads tend to go, for example.. This one!

Advice after a new vehicle purchase and it's managed to come around to what's good about MKB. it'd like most of us suffer from ADD when posting on here...

What's the orange van? I've come on strong to classic Volvos all of a sudden, think I need a tweed jacket first though.
