if manufacturers simply try and build cars the way they did yesterday, they are going to go out of business. the world is changing, and even the fastest cars now need to consider fuel consumption an important factor.

if 'carbon credits' do come out (and its very likely eventually) you simply wont be able to keep throwing fuel in the tank, no matter how rich you are.
