Cheers ears!

Bit of a shocker as I didn't even realise that all cars were automatically judged!

Thankfully the weather kept the concours boys away!

Driving home was 'interesting' though.

Try driving a '58 Caddy home that afternoon, Mate.

I hope your wipers worked better than mine.

Mine have a sort of random sweep technique that some people might confuse with 'rain sensing wipers'.

Yeah, right.

Try about 40% sweep, only when you're easing OFF the accelerator !!
(vacuum powered - vacuum pump damaged)

Roadkill

Oh, and no heaters/fan.

Mmmm, steamy.

Giblets

Sounds like an exciting adventure to me mate!

X-treme driving.

congrats raife.

its a gorgeous car, and to be honest, wont take much at all to make very near perfect.

ii'd definatley treat that one as an investment, they are getting rare in that kind of shape..

FUBAR

well done m8, been saying for ages you're car was a nice one
It's the time that we kill that keeps us alive...

Giblets

Thanks boys.

Want to keep any mods tasteful of course, so it retains it's originality. Not sure about it beig an investement as I plan on getting my alotted 3000 miles per year out of it still, and won't let rain put me off attending major shows.

I don't think any cars of sub- £5k value are worth cocooning, but hopefully I can keep the grot out by garaging it for a few years at least!

Oi!, My Caddy cost me £4k.

Mind you she's hardly wrapped in cotton wool.

Indeed . . . In fact several surfaced while travelling down the motorway for the first time.

Bonus.
