I've got a kit like that, a whole 1:8 scale Ford T-Bucket hotrod kit that I primarily bought just for it's HUGE rear wheels, it's prime purpose was going to be to make a 1:8 scale Pro-street 3rd gen, but the kit will now be used to modify this:

Lucky thats 1:8th Scale third gen. Found a 1:24 87 Camaro going on there the other week, so git outbidded me, went for crazy money in the end.

Hope that works better than the last one I tried to install into a Mk2 Calavier ?

Failed the MOT due to excessive play in the brake system, the garage said that the master cyclinder was fooked. Bought a new one and when I took the old one out, found that the play was caused by the fact the rear scuttle panel was rusted through

Took it to a professional welder who kindly explained that he couldn't weld to rust and holes

Huh, turns out, if you mix the paint wrong on these and possibly use a paint gun at work thats been used with some really f**k off harsh thinners, you can melt the plastic these kits are made out of.

Oh well, onto another two cars...
