our lad matt has finally got a full time job in the news industry...

he is moving to Birmingham next week,[ i suppose someone has to]

so i had to get him some transport
got this low milage ,  206, pug  1.4 this week,

nice nippy likkle car with air con and a bluetooth radio

full mot , 2 new tyres,new exhaust new varta batt,cambelt 20k ago
owned by 2 women and serviced at dealers not bad for 700 bucks,

whacked some new pads in it, removed and flushed the rad and new coolant and hes good to go..

he has a flat in the city, the upside is i get somewhere to crash in brum after concerts and pub crawls..

Sammy had a 2L Diesel.  Not bad little cars, I thought, TBH.

as it has a full 4 cyl and a proper full size radiator

on the up side his insurance was ok at £818 for a first car ..
just £100 more than a 1.0L
he is 23 this year...

I remember when I went to help one of my friends who had a 1 litre Corsa. She said she had a 'funny noise under the bonnet like someone hitting something with a hammer' - I popped the bonnet and after making a joke about whoever was in there with the hammer must've left, I went 'blaady hell, they stole one of your cylinders too!' She didn't get it.
