Er, that last one is not a tench!

Looks like a very big Roach or Rudd, never very good at telling them apart!

Nice one though! I need to get back on rivers and go after barbel. I mainly fish at a fishery just up the road. A couple of weeks ago I had a nice haul.

he did say it was an odd tench.....

ive not been out for over a year...

but may well be hittin the river nene,next week,
where its quite shallow and small but has some huge chub and a few stray carp in it ..

Drove past Kensworth this morning at about 11am on my way to the vets in Eaton Bray, it looked quite busy
