would anyone be interested in a pair of WEEKEND tickets to this year'c Country2Country festival in London?  I, as usual, got trigger happy and bought too many tickets!!

They sell for anywhere between £120 and £350 per ticket, per day!  That's an average of £920 for what I'm holding in these passes!!  I'm not looking for anywhere near that much!  That's just ticket touts taking the pi55 in my opinion!

Our spare tickets are: Block 110, Row Z, Seat 312-313.  That's on the right hand side, near the top of block 110:

The view is great from there as its tiered so there's no random tall bloke in front of you.  I originally bought these for my parents and then got trigger happy and bought them seats in the stalls near us!

It is the same 2 seats for the whole weekend, last year was incredible and this year is set to be even better.

This years line up is:
Brad Paisley
Zac Brown Band
Dixie Chicks
Chris Young
Martina Mcbride
The Band Perry
Rascal Flatts
Dierks Bentky

as well as loads of others playing in the concourse!

Tickets are in hand here ready to be sent.  They're a printable pdf so I can email it over immediately or print it and hand it over, whichever suits :)

I'd be looking for somewhere in the region of £500 for the whole lot, that's only a tiny bit more than what you could pay a random tout for 4 seats spread all over the place.  Assuming you got them at the lowest price.  It's a deal, it's a steal, it's sale of the frikkin century!!!!

Feel free to make me an offer, there are currently 0 weekend passes for sale anywhere else, most have been split in to single day passes which ruins it :(

That's not a bad profit margin you're running there considering the face value is somewhere between £115.00 - £135.00...

£230 to £270 profit on tickets you 'accidentally' bought to many of...

Not sure what you're getting at really?  What's your issue here?

Andy

Ah man!! You got floor tickets, you jammy son of a gun!

Let me ask my mum and sister. Probably be a no, but both of them like the Sunday line up, but will need persuading for the Saturday.

Which day is Dierks on? I didn't know he was playing!

EDGE

Dude!  I didn't even think to ask you as I knew you had tickets already :)

I'll do you a solid deal, don't worry about that pricing :)

Apologies for my grammar error, I do know the difference but sometimes my dyslexia gets the better of me and I make stupid mistakes. I'm just glad for spell check in browsers these days...

I generally dislike touts is my issue. Especially when they strike a tone to suggest they are doing you a favor by only having doubled the price.

I would be far happier to see all tickets with ID of the buyer and having to be traded at face value through the original retailer. Thus keeping ticket prices in the reach of the majority that actually want to go, rather than just allowing those who want to snap up tickets and make a fast buck to do so...

What. A. Weekend.

Apart from meeting Mr Edge and the lovely Mrs Edge, the whole weekend was perfect! Beautiful weather, lovely people, lovely music! Just great!

Highlight was obviously Brad Paisley, although I think he was always going to steal the show no matter what. But real head turner and roof raiser was Dierks Bentley, truly looked honoured and grateful to be there! Worked so well with the crowd too. I really hope he comes back and does another show soon.

Sunday I used my cunning skill and wit to blag my way in with a DSLR as the seats I had were just too good to lose that opportunity! I am beyond happy with the results!

My country friends, Sam and Vicki

Girl : "Hiya.  I'm waving my hand !"

Dude : "Woah, that's the most amazing thing I ever saw . . . . "

Andy

Oh dear Dean!

Very good band they were though!

We also got a treat on Saturday to the new Johnny Cash single and video that's coming out the end of the month!

Andy

Yep, this guy:

Told us the story, they've found an album he was working on in the 80's I believe that got shelved in the Columbia archives. His son only recently found it, went back and found all the musicians who worked on it and re-recorded it or something like that. Sounded really good, so guessing the album will be to, called something like Up in the Stars(?) I think!

Shame, most of the stuff he did during that period was pretty rubbish.

I'll give it a listen when I see it, though.
