I could have swore I bought my car with 12 months MOT on it.

Turns out the ticket ran out back in early March and I only found out as I was rummaging through old receipts!

Will this create any problems for me other than explaining the gap to any would be future purchaser?

Anyone know of a local MOT man who will smile kindly on her, and not fail her for having the wrong sidelights?

F Body

Nothing in Luton I'm afraid and with the new computerized system it's gona get even hard to buck the system

The GMC is going up to Nathan in Northampton.

F Body

More to the point , with the new computer system you'll get an automatic fine for driving without an MOT

philoldsmobile

Nathan (paragon) is probably one of the best, as he knows the little bits of law that affect import vehicels that differ from UK market cars, so he wont fail it on anything that it shouldn't.

Giblets

Thanks guys, can someone PM me his details please?

Yes.

They'll smile very kindly if you know me.

Managed to pass Jamies with no rear brakes.

Jamieg285

Do you think they'll pass one with no chassis

and the Caddy

Giblets

Rocky's gonna take care of it for me.

I can't risk taking my car all the way to Northampton or Brackley only to be told that my car failed, when the garage around the corner from me could do that!

Gonna have to bite the bullet on converting my front headlights, so the sidelights work as they should.

Fingers crossed, that should be the only expense needed to get her through!

Bletchley ! (as in M.K)

I have two "preferred" M.O.T testers I use.

One passed the Camaro (as it was before the new tyres . . )

The other passed the Caddy . . . . as it is.

Giblets

Aah yes Bletchley. Read it too quickly.

Nah! I'm not gonna chance it this time, as it would be a hassle getting the car there to drop it off etc.

Giblets

Besides I plan on keeping the car for a few years at least, so it's worth doing the lights job properly.
