The JCB DieselMax has recorded a two way run of 350mph on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah



The truly jaw-dropping part came from Andy Green, pilot of the DieselMax, when he said, "There is so much more to come as the car is pulling like a train and we still haven't used sixth gear!"

At least 410mph if they haven't even touched sixth, yet.

5 gears = 350mph, therefore each gear equals about 70mph, so sixth should be 420 ish......

oh and i know the above aint no exact science - its a guestimate loL!!
