Im sure mathew could do you a deal on it mate, still cheaper than a LS7 and a hell of a lot quicker

I'm wondering if you mean $8,000 not £8,000 ?

A new GM Performance Parts LS7 crate motor with water pump, alternator, everything fitted, just pipe up the coolant and fuel lines and connect 5 wires are just under $10,000

Hell I'd love to try either option

The LS7 makes 505bhp and would mate to the Camaro's auto box , throw in some addition cooling and the box would last may be 10k miles but the weak link is the diff, couple of hard starts and it would say goodbye

Can't see me rustling up the funds for an entire drive train

HardRockCamaro

The LS7 would probably last longer (in normal road use), require less maitenance and be a lot better on gas.

V Cool though!
