It you haven't seen it advertised it's basically one of his usual playing around in cars DVDs but this time set in America with American cars.

As we know he's a closet American car fan it all sounds good.

It isn't.

It amounts to 80minutes of the usual predjudices against american cars combined with mismatched "Races" between american machinery and european ones.

Case in point:

The Rousch Mustang Stage 3 races a...    Lotus Exige (Elise type thing) as opposed to say a 2 door BMW M3 or something.

Standard Dodge RAM Hemi against an Aerial Artom around a racetrack (lets see how good the atom is off road)

The Chrysler 300C SRT8 is however raced against a BMW M5, after Clarkson told us the Chrysler cost only £28,000.  Why not race it against a 5 series that costs £28,000?  Because the BMW would lose is why.

The very good Corvette Z06 is shown alone, not racing against anything European (gee I wonder why?) instead it's the only car he then tests on the road and complains it's naff on road.

To show bad build quality they fill a Cadillac with water and do the same with an old Jag and show that the Jag is better madse becuase it holds thr water in better(!?).
Lets see which one starts after you empty the water out I say...

Basically it's £15 and all it does is raise your blood pressure...

I shall be writing them a snotty email...

Well it did exactly what it said on the packaging. Clarkson os an overated car critic. The only journelism of his i read is his small column in the sunday times, usualy quite good with only the ocasional car related quip. As for top gear,5th gerar or any of the other generic chav culture motor shows i dont watch plain and simple.
