Email from the original owners family

As some of you know my 1955 was purchased from the granddaughter of the seller. The car had been bought for him by his father and it was to be passed onto his son, unfortunatly the son was killed in a traffic accident the christmas before the car was put up for sale. The grandfather offered it to both the grandchilldren but neither of them wanted it so the decision to sell was made.

Of the 3 people interested the grandfather decided that i should be the person to purchase it.

Unfortunatly i lost contact with the seller after the purchase and have been trying to locate them again ever since.

A couple of months ago i found a website for the town where the family lived so i made a post asking for information but got no response.

Monday morning i check my mail and find a message from the grandaughter. Apparently her grandfather had died and she was googling his name and came across my message.

7 years after i bought the car i can finaly show them the work that has been done so an email was sent linking them to the gallery

when i get the money, im not rushing it so it can be finished, just bought a second appartment with a garage so i can store her at home, bumpers and chrome work are currently in poland being polished and re chromed and the motor as in my folks garage
