Are you sure you're not sending these spam emails to yourself?

Spam that is designed to poison your junk mail filter.

If you mark it as spam then your filter software adds those words to its junk mail filtering and thus your software starts recognising genuine emails as junk (so you turn off spam filtering).

Of course most spanowadays uses a picture (a picture of text to be exact) file attachment instead of actual text which your spam filter can't read thus it gets through...
