dad has blown the radiator on the tahoe (us auto say about £400 for a new one! ) and mums motorised bike died.

Loads of places can re-core a radiator for a dam sight less than that PhilO.
Added to the fact you probally won't get it till Easter

As for your Mum's motorised bike , can she take it back to Ann Summers

kempston rads can re core them, using the correct cores (rather than simply one of the same size) for about £120

mother is simply gonna get shot of the TGA electrobike (its been rubbish) and buy a powabike instead. (her eyesight prevents her from driving..)
