Just got my Satnav back from PhilO who's been on a little road trip to Spain this week

He drove to Barcelona and back in three days in a Transit

Well I've just turned the Satnav on and the recorded stats are :

Driving time : 32 hours 41mins & 7 secs.

Time Stopped ( with Satnav still on ) : 2 hours 12 minutes and 59 secs.

These figures don't show any time when the Satnav was turned off

But I've saved the best bit till last

Maximum speed 102 mph

the speedo is waaaaay optomistic, it was showing about 108mph at the time. cruising at the french legal limit of 130km/h (about 83 mph) the speedo was showing nearly 90!

that was on the way back, loaded too

had a job to do, so went and did it!  

this tranny is one of the last of the old style (06 reg) and i have to say its really superb, easily as comfortable as a lot of cars on long journeys
