TOTAL = £945.55

TOTAL MILES = (153,645 - 116,140) = 37,505

2.52 p / mile

Petrol averaged 9p - 10p per mile (say 9.5p)

So 2.5 + 9.5 = 12p per mile, every mile

Chavscorts really can't be beat for running a cheap car as cheaply as possible.
Basic engineering with not much to go wrong, easy to work on yourself, cheap and plentiful parts and a wide selection of cars to begin with.
Plus you can always sell them on because they're Chavscorts.

A quick sum suggests the STS is costing me 25-28p per mile at around 12,000 miles per year and driving mostly in and around London.
