I bet for all its 1000hp it's maybe not all that overall.
For example it's uber heavy which doesn't help so maybe around the track its time would be the same as a lesser powered, lighter supercar?
After all the Top Gear track in my opinion focuses heavily on handling not power as there are hardly any straights for big power cars to make up for their handling.

Indeed the bugatti in my opinion is a total waste of time and space, whats the point of a 1000hp when the car weighs 2 ton giving it 500bhp per ton its gonna get cained by pretty much most things. Now 1000hp in something like the ultima is gonna be seriousley impressive.

The bugati is bought by people with more money than taste much like the merc G wagon its all man

My thoughts exactly, twin turbo all the way baby .

However good the Porsche gearbox they use in these things is I don't think it would stand up to that sort of punishment without some serious money being put into it.
