Avalanche Andrews and Shawn Daigle ( are those real names ? ) decided to exchange vows at a place they love almost as much as each other - New England Dragway's starting line.

In front of friends and family, plus several hundred participants in the October 28, test and tune session, Shawn and Avalanche opened a new chapter in their lives.

The couple were engaged at the 2006 national event and always thought the track would be a good place to have their wedding. "This reflects who we are," said a jubilant Shawn. "We really enjoy our time here, so it made perfect sense to have our wedding here," added Avalanche. Their friends Julie and Chuck Tersolo served as the Maid of Honor and Best Man.

How did they take their first steps together as husband and wife? By running each other in a bracket race, of course. Avalanche dialed in her "Grape Crusher" wagon and squared off against Shawn in his "Devil's Eye" Buick. They were followed by the Tersolo's who also ran against each other. For the record Shawn and Chuck both picked up wins.
