OK one for you MK / Bedford'ers...

I need to be in Bedford for 9.15am tomorrow monring..........whic route is the best and less likely to be prone to delays...

Route 1: A420 -> A34 -> M40 -> A43 -> A421

Route 2: M4 -> M25 -> M1 -> A421

Route 3: A420 -> A34 -> M40 -> A43 -> M1 -> A421

Route 3 is the TOm TOm prefered one, route 2 is the google maps one and route 1 is my normal route.......

ummm...... they are all gonna suck, sadly if you go M1 north you're gonna hit the roadworks, M40 often gets heavy, i'd prefer the last one, thats got the least chance of big jams
i'd allow 2.5 hours, i can do bedford to swindon in 2 hours for the meet easily but thats without hold ups

what part of bedford are you coming to? (that can make a big difference)

Yeah thats wot i thought they all gunna be nasty nasty but just a case of which is the least nasty!

Yeah gunna be leaving here at about 7 in the morning, maybe slightly ealier if i get out of bed early enough lol!

the A421 into bedford (marsh leys roundabout) is HORRIBLE at that time of morning (you may just miss it though its up to 9am its bad)... i'ts the only logical way to come in, but allow at least 20 mins over the usual journey time

Why do people not want to use public transport??????

That said, the semi-fast service to Euston was ontime and a fairly clean train, which helped a lil.........

the ticket was for 5, and it was a return

I took the train from baltimore to washington DC, cost $40 and was like a 1st class aircraft cabin compared to the bench seats in our aging rolling stock

Sort of, it was as a team leader for their support department. Got down to the last 3, but the other 2 were coming from a similar job background, whereas I didn't have the same background.
