Firstly, Uh-huh, point received LOUD AND CLEAR - the spade is sharp . . .

Secondly.

A piece of carpet's cheaper, less obtrusive and easier to come by.

Admittedly it won't protect your car from a spade weilding maniac but I don't happen to get that problem often in my garage.

No but it would have stopped the dent my gran put in the TR6 drivers door when she would insist on getting into their car stored in the same garage
