The original Kitt was cool, looked futuristic and while of course it was based on a 3rd gen trans-am it didn't look like a 3rd gen transam with a bodykit bolted to it because they totally replaced parts but kept everything flowing.

This looks like a Mustang that has ram raided Halfords.

It doesn't look "special" and "futuristic".


Plus it was designed and built by Howard and Ted...
