Roadkill

Did Boyd ever start restoring it as originally reported ?

No.

Apparently the body was deemed too far gone so the plan was to do the motor . . . . . which was later found impractical, too.

So, instead, the winner of the car is having her preserved so she can be displayed without further decay.

The work is being done by a company called "Ultra One".

That said there's been no recent updates and followers of the "preservation" are getting very concerned, judging by the posts on the forum.

Finally - an interesting and kind-of related resto . . A little closer to home, too.

The whole thing has turned out to be a bit of a bummer

Amazing how parts of the car are still really sound and others have just rotted away
