Yesterday's little adventure -> Project Office Seat

Well, not a lot to say really.. I was getting fed up with the dull office seat i had. Even though it was ridiculously expensive (although swiped from work) it wasn't quite 'right'

30 minutes of bidding on ebay, 20 minutes of drilling, a lot of angle grinding and a little cutting later I have this..

I have used the complete frame, arms and bottom end of the office seat, retaining ALL original adjustments and now have something cooler!!

The seat has 4 way adjustability (8 if you include both directions on the same axis like car manufacturers seem to)

its surprisingly comfy too.... and having the side bolsters i cant sit all crooked like i have been. It's been hurtng my back somehing chronic...

i figured id use a relatively cheap ebay seat for now to prove the concept and if i like it I'll get a recaro or something...

i've been looking at some harnesses on ebay, just for effect, they seem to be about £50 which is a lot considering ill have to move it out of the way every morning
