wow amazed that it didn't totally disintegrate when the train hit it - although it looks like he going slowish as i think you can see the crossing in the background ??

I assume they're reversing it to get the Caddy off and onto a road vehicle as it says it was dragged a 1/4 mile.

I'd like a closer look at the other side/interior though.  As LHD the driver would probably still have had it but the passengers would probably be ok (not sure what a car full of passengers would be doing on the back of a transporter mind, well, not unless it was an Alfa...    )
