Well although I've blown them out on the Camaro & bike insurance, they were £75 less than anyone else with the Panda ( runs out on Monday ).

So much for being "specialist" insurers

They do the Eldo for £130 a year, F/Comp, unlimited miles and the '58 for £110 a year, F/Comp, 2,000 miles a year.

I just tried getting a quote from Admiral Multi-car - my Camaro insurance is due on the 9th and as their advert says "any car" I thought at least give them ago to see if they can bring the costs down seeing as though we have three cars.

Gave the information of the Lacetti (the daily driver) no problems at all, gave my Camaro information over no problems at all, gave the Trans-Am and he says - sorry we don't cover that.  So I asked why and he said cos its American.  WTF?????  So unknown to him and to prove a point I said ok just give me a quote for the Camaro.  He gave me a figure which I have no idea now what it was (but it was around £250) as I just wanted to prove a point.  So I asked him to explain how he can quote for my Camaro (an American car) and not the Trans-Am (again an American car).  He said cos they're different cars!!!! WTF again???  I explained to him that yes there are different cars but they are sister cars, BOTH are American Cars, both are European Spec models (ie made for the European country) etc etc etc etc etc.  He said one must have been made for this country and one specifically for America - durrr NOPE - try again pal!!  With a lot of guessing (including - get this..................... they've got different engines!!!!!) I felt myself getting quite irate with him (thats the friggin second time today I've got irate with an indian based UK company!!!!!, and an instance on Monday with MCE, but I got my own way there lololol - thats another story ;)) I told him, that it was the company he worked for that were losing out on 3 insurance policies and hung up.

WTF is wrong with people these days - do they just not want to help - you would think with the state of this country they would pull their fingers out.

£284 for the T/A Fully Comp with Protected NCB.

And the good thing....no paperwork.  They send you it all as PDF and you print your own Certificate.

Did all my ringing round when I bought the camaro and Flux were about 300 more than Sureterm for me No brainer! When it came to renewal, Sureterm just sent me a letter with their quote for the 2nd year and left me alone. Simples...
