im not sure on those particular ones, the lift up reverse one I sold always included a gear knob.  depends if they;ve just ripped it off totally or if theyve used some daft proprietry thread..  if they have you MAY need to machine an adapter..

i had a practice with some ordinary plumbing solder and flux and it was just possible,
so with the right flux,tallow,lead and the paddles it should be easier....and id only do it outside

Short shifter fitted.

The instruction that came with it were B&M shifter but unlike the one in the pictures, there was no B&M knob...

However, old one fits a charm, all back together and looking handsome!

Well impressed as I only ordered it on Thursday night.
