Just seen on Sky News that Thorpe park has a new Rollercoaster based on the Saw films
It is being classed as the most 'terrifying rollercoaster in the world'.

Queuing is done through a "metal pen" with (fake) barbed wire running around its tall fences. The aim, I was told, is for the customers to feel slightly uncomfortable.

When inside the warehouse you are greeted with an ominous message scrawled in red paint on the prefabricated metal walls: let the game begin.

After passing various pools of (fake) blood and the chilling sounds of gunshots and screams, the scene is set and the ride is before you.

Not that I would wanna ride it, but will have to work out when we can all go there soon so the rest of you can try it

Although we'll have to make sure it is a warmish day, so we can dry off from the water rides

F Body

Yeah but which body parts do you lose

Incursus

Hmm don't like the straight down drop ones....scare the living $hit out of me....yeah I know thats the point.

Might not be so bad if it doesn't pause at the top like Oblivion

A brand new horror-movie-themed rollercoaster has broken down at a celebrity preview at Thorpe Park
The £13.5m ride based on the Saw series of films had to be closed before being officially opened to the public, a park spokesman said.

Bosses at the Surrey park said the ride experienced a "temporary shutdown" due to "minor teething problems".

To add to the drama on the adrenaline-fuelled ride, a female member of the public suffered a panic attack.

The woman had to be evacuated and helped by first aid teams.

"Unfortunately, right at the end of the night, the ride had a temporary shutdown just as the car left the ride station," said the spokesman.

"During this time a guest experienced a panic attack."

Minor teething problems can happen with new rides and well rehearsed emergency procedures were implemented immediately, the spokesman said.

FUBAR

TBH i'm not suprised at all... you think how much Oblivion is broken, that has experienced a "Temporary Shutdown" every time i've ever been to alton towers.

When we were in Vegas in 2005 we promised ourselves we were gonna do all three up there - unfortunately we just didn't have time  not surprising realy considering how many others there are on the strip  When we got back home we "doh'd!" cos we had missed them.  However, when we knew we were going back to Vegas in 2007 (our Route 66 road trip) we said we would definitely do them - again we didn't lololol  this time it was because we stayed at a hotel further down the strip and it was just too far to go (we were only there two nights to be fair ;) and spent too much time shopping)!!

If, and I mean if there is a next time - we WILL do them ;)
