the surround just needs to be solid enough to mount a new screen to without leaking, doesn't need to be an invisible mint repair..

how much do you reckon to repair the surround satin black the roof, and supply and fit a new screen?

the odd looking patches on the roof were where the rust spots had gone into holes. i simply kurusted them, and glassed over them - this method is fine, as the roof isn't very visible, plus the satin black will hide a multitude of evils!

just need to sort the cracked screen, while the screen is out, it makes sense to sort the rust in the surround..
