We'll carry on untill people get tired or bored I guess... There's a 24 hour Tesco up the road and a Pizza place on the estate if we get hungry...

Yeah, I got to bed at about 2.40am but feel fine this morning.

Good nights work, went fairly smoothly.

All done in about 7 hours and that included pizza and p!ssing about swapping bits from the old trans to the new one, too.

Trust me, if you'de seen the horrors that lurked inside the old trans after it had been worked on by a certain company, you'd understand why it failed twice after rebuid...

The full post mortum has yet to be carried out, but once done I think RK has furniture plans for the casting...

mind you i took the gearbox off of my dayvan to replace a core plug on the engine,
and put it back...on my own a few years ago.....
