First major teething issue...

Well if you disregard the brake issue and the cracking nose cones

Mind you it'd not all bad news, they have added a 3rd shift at the Canadian plant to help keep up with demand

Well at least the dealers & hire companies will get the worst ones, it always takes months to sort out initial problems.

We have a major warranty problem with windscreen rubbers, after 7 years production some French genius decided to modify the rubber to reduce wind noise and now they keep falling out

Customers don't like losing their rubbers

Well there isn't even any evidence that the new seal is any quieter

The seal tooling was changed in Nov 08, the first new seals were supplied late Dec 08 and fitted Jan 09. It took about 3 months to realise the scale of the problem and solutions are still being discussed

didn't they design a car aerial to hold a white flag?

thats why the french flag has a white stripe up it... at any time, the french can do a bit of creative folding and have a nice white flag !!!
