Well I schived off work just after 2pm and very nearly took the Zee
Got just outside Aston Clinton and the heavens opened, glad the old gal was still tucked up in the garage

As we arrived people were leaving in there droves

Considering the weather it looked pretty full

Kept having to put the camera away because it was raining too hard

Plenty of Buses for CP

I don't mind the centre bonnet stripe but what the hell are the side stripes

This is identical to my Yamaha RD350 that I had my first big crash on, we parted company at 60mph on a country road ( yes it hurt )

Loads of Tractors :

and Steam Engines :

Going to get me a T one day

No sign of Rob ( No.S18  according to the programme ) so here is a token Trans Am :

Oldsmobile 88 :

Plenty of cars even older than me

Airstream Combi :

The only Thunderbird I like :

Didn't take long for this Pick Up to resurface after being sold

and Helicopter rides :

Andy

Does anybody know who owns that Buick? It broke down outside my house and I offered the owners help but they said they had a low loader on the way. They said they came from Aylesbury way.

The white 58 Buick is not one i've seen round here before, i wish i'd gone now as that and the blue Pontiac 'vert would have made it worth the trip for me.

You must have just missed us.......Left just after 2.

We braved the wind and rain and got there about 10:30.  Soon after it stopped raining and the sun came out.  Not a bad day after that.  A good turnout despite the inclement conditions.

Some pics Martyn didn't get.

That Chrylser Imperial was at our meet. Looked in stunning condition and had that 'car' smell about it. Burnt petrol mixed with oil, blooming fantastic!

That's what I love about the old fashioned big block engines

On the modern cars all you get is the smell of rotten eggs
