While I understand that business is business, and you don't want a car nut who will bring out 12mpg muscle cars and ignore the hybrid/electric stuff he really does need to know something about cars ffs.

While a large proportion of people these days buy cars as appliances (witness Toyotas) which means their concerns are reliability, economy and quality as opposed to cool and fast, he still needs to understand that there;s more to a car than just what is on paper.  Design and emotion do play a part, less in some consumers than others.

He may have done well with AT&T but remember they are one of the most hated cellular network providers in America...
