As some of you know, we went to the US last year specifically to attend the Trans-Am Nationals and I know there was a post about it, but I guess it was on the old forum.

It was an awesome event with 429 Firebirds of all generations in attendance, and along with a Saturday night cruise to a local town where the main street was closed to all non-Firebird traffic and live music played all evening. For two die-hard Firebird fans it was heaven.

We have finally got around to putting up the pictures - I know it's taken a year but........... mmmm no excuses really!!!!!!
We have linked them to an external site to save space on our own forum, so you can find them here http://gallery.me.com/dave.sharp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">http://gallery.me.com/dave.sharp

This car was absolutely awesome.  In fact the bird on the hood was a standard bird but was airbrushed.  He also had an etched firebird emblem in the rear glass - and of course the Year One wheels.  The only thing that was wrong (in our opinion anyway!) was the stick on firebird emblems on the panels behind the doors.  When we spoke to the guy and said we were surprised he hadn't airbrushed them (like the hood bird) he said "I hadn't thought of that"  Wonder if he ever got round to doing it?  I have to admit - this was my favourites and put this down to win a trophy - surprisingly he didn't win anything

Can't believe this was nearly a year ago now - there is currently a lot of talk about this years show  (which is in the next couple of weeks!).  Oh we so want to be there again
