This is one of those alltime classic songs that has been covered MANY times, I also think its also one of those songs that everyone will have a favourite version of for that exact reason..

Does anyone have a favourite?  or is the Original still the best?

I personally am really not a Fan of the Original Depeche Mode version:

This is my Favourite version:  Lacuna Coil:

and also this version by DJ Mike Koglin from my previous music tastes (not the exact version I have, skip to about 40secs in):

i only know the original still sounds good too

i do think they should all get out of those underground industrial areas for a while and run naked through summer meadows with their pants on their heads

itll do em good, far too pasty

Cunning Plan

1968 VW T2 Bay Bus (currently being restored and upgraded)
1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ (modern classic daily driver)

Fieldy

Big Mouse

Not one of Depeche Modes greatest but I can forgive them that for all the other great stuff they came up with in the 80's. I saw them live in Southampton or Portsmouth around 82-83 ish I think, very good live band. Gahans voice was/is so much better than most of that era

Careful now there are quite a few of us old 70's/80's boys here

Although I really don't do music anymore because I don't have the time ( i.e don't drive daily etc ) I think we had a far greater variety of popular music back then
