This was the weather when I cycled to the gym at 05:30am this morning, horizontal rain and gale force winds

Currently 3.7c outside and my remote sensor is in quite a protected position, so it's at least 0.5c colder and then add the wind chill factor

MK to Luton this morning on the bike, it was fine, didn't even get numb thumbs.

Think the coldest last year I rode to work in was -6, I remember seeing warning -6 flashing up on the dash of a car I was stopped next to at J13.

Been wearing my coat in the house most of the last couple of weeks

during the war.......

i used to ride 10 miles on a motorcycle as an apprentice, for 4 years in this weather...

was never amusing when ya got off....frozen tackle early in the mornin....
