Indeed.  A letter from the Attorney General seems to have got him talking again

Going on Ebay with a reserve of $3500 and hope for the best.

Engines been Advertised on Ebay for nearly a Month now for $3400 with very little interest.
And according to the Builder nothing is selling in the States. Had a look at complete listings and couldn't find much except this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/rebuilt-360-mopar-engine-w-4-speed-transmision_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3ca97e317aQQitemZ260541657466QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_500wt_1006\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Ebay Link Which went for a little over $1k

Been offered $2300 for it...

I paid about $4500 for it.

Not sure what to do...

Maybe say $2500 ?

That's better than nothing.

Not good, but what are you gonna do ?

at the end of the day the guy has had YOUR money in his bank for a couple of years,

YOU.. should not be waiting on the result of an auction to get back your money......

a stronger letter should be sent to him.....

on the other hand...with the exchange rate varying ...$1000 was probably £500 two years ago.....
This forum needs, ''YOU'' posting,Not just reading ! :moon:

If you've been offered $2300 then wait till the classified ad expired and get him to start an auction with $2300 as a starting price... The worst that happens is the guy who was interested buys it at that price, the best is that a few people bid it up to something more like what it's worth...
