I've been using some stainless steel cleaner on the bike and for the Camaro's exhaust system and although it does the job, it's a tad expensive at £11.99 for 200ml

So hit E Bay earlier in the week and bought 5 litres of concentrated stainless steel cleaner for £12.99 + £6.99 postage from Belfast , total price £19.98

It arrived this morning and it works exactly the same as the motorcycle stuff

Here's the 200ml bottle side by side :

Or you could have just used Glass cleaner, thats what we use all day everyday!! Plus you will find cheaper stainless cleaner will tarnish the surface after a while.

I know its not technically the same thing, bit after machining we use a degreaser called Jizer, (That's Ji-Zeer...) Rinse small parts in that, then a bath of hot water and the parts come up a right treat! No scrubbing or nothing.

Glass cleaner would be fine for a sink or work top, but a car or bike exhaust discolours when they get to a couple of hundered degrees C

The chemical cleaner works fine providing you use it regularly, otherwise it's time to breakout the Autosol
