Tis true as sir Titsy says I own a mk1 escort running 383ci 500bhp sbc. Full chassis pro streeter runs 10's on the motor :0)

had the tina since 07 and took me 4.5 years to find and the plan was to build a new race car but it turned out to be almost mint and was to good to chop so plans changed to make it a 10sec street sleeper but time then money put paid to that and it just sat on my drive :0(
after abit of soul seaching and not wanting to realy sell it I offered it to a mate.
Today the bugger picked it up :0( gutted but needs must I gess so that's that :0(

anyone wanna buy an escort????

Andy

Love those shape Cortina's . . . my dad had a nice bronze/brown one when I was 5 and let me change gear in it around town.
