Not new, but barely used by it's previous owner, a couple of very minor scratches on the frame and new Kevlar tyres, not bad for £125

Very nice, Claud Butlers are cracking bikes

Loving them wheels!

Paddle shift (kinda) gears too, have them on my GT, fantastic but have to keep on top of the wire tensioning.

In my experience, disc brakes are only really more beneficial when wet, however, V-Brakes are simply easier to adjust....

Might have cleaned it..............a little

I think it's about 5 years old
There are a couple of very minor bits of corrosion as you can see in the pictures and the tyres were replaced although the treads were like new, the side walls were completely split and perished through lack of use

Disc brakes are really more of a fashion statement, V brakes do the job and are lighter

FUBAR

I used to have those exact same tyres on my bike, they lasted ages, to the point where the sidewalls wore out before the 'tread' did.

(the joins in the kevlar cross-hatching pattern degrade eventually, and if you really keep them long enough this starts rubbing on the innertube)

+ they're great, nice low rolling resistance

Should this go in the Bikers Corner ?
