Clarify something for me as it's been a while and I can't remember . . . . .

<leaves gap for ArtB to mis-quote later>

The crank snout on the LT1 definately has a woodruff keyway in it doesn't it ?
It's the hub (the cast press-on part) the does not ?

Further to our conversations yesterday regarding lack of definate location for timing I've found that the aftermarket hubs like these :

http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/51607/10002/-1?parentProductId=757291\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/51607/10002/-1?parentProductId=757291

. . DO have a slot in them.

You need a new hub in order to fit one of these :

I just want to make sure that the hub part definately doesn't have a keyway in it and I think you've had yours apart more recently than me.

Nevermind.

This link confirms that the stock hub isn't keyed and relies on eyeballing it to line it up . . . .

Wanna go halfsies on this ?

Maybe, but it seems a bit overkill, does a generic hub puller not do the same job?
