After two weeks work on the old Gal, I'm just about to drop her off for MOT this morning

Seriously considering refurbing the front suspension assemblies over the coming winter, trouble is that means power coating and stainless steel fixings

She's Passed and when I handed over £53, they told me it's on special offer this week for £35

The old Gal completed just 527 miles in the last 12 months

MOT results were no advisory's ( as if an advisory was gonna happen )

Fast Idle Test :

CO2 max allowed = 0.200 - Actual = 0.010

HC max allowed = 200 - Actual = zero.

Lambda max allowed 1.030 - Min allowed 0.970 - Actual = 1.004.

Natural Idle Test :

CO2 max allowed 0.300 - Actual = 0.081.

527 miles in the last 12 months - Total mileage now 17,126 miles.

Average fuel consumption this year =   28.38mpg - average mpg from new =   27.11mpg.

Expenditure during 2010 = £867.25    = £1.64  per mile.

Total Expenditure to date = £42,562 = £2.48  per mile.

and I need to fill up with £80ish of Super unleaded in the morning

How many miles or should that be gallons to the mile

I've spent £75.78 this year on petrol, with about the same spent tomorrow, total overall fuel cost = £2405.31 = £0.14p per mile on fuel

Three reasons for this :

No.1 = Spending so much time driving in the car park also known as the M1.

No.2 = Had the Aircon Serviced.

No.3 Had the MOT done.

Well they obviously don't use the rubber blocks I do

I've cleaned off the lumps with brake cleaner and repainted all four mounting points, pity I got a big lump of underseal in my hair
