You can't beat Weatherspoons full English, two slices of toast and mug of hot chocolate topped with cream for £4.29

Popped over to Wellingborough, it was a little hard to find, but hundreds of bikes

Met some old mates from the Honda club and Limo Bri and Sue were there with Bri's new Trike

I'm not really into Trikes but his brand new custom trike is awesome
Sorry no pictures the phone went flat

SS 1800cc V Twin, belt drive to a custom made diff with fully independent suspension and custom painted in a bronze colour with loads of hand made parts

Plus as the Ducati is 1 year old tomorrow It's just turned 2,000 miles

Not meaning to turn a 'car' thread into a bike one, but what sort of premiums do you pay on insurance?

12 months ago my Ducati cost me £207 with protected no claims, £250 excess and up to 5,000 miles a year.

Just renewed it for £157 with protected no claims, £325 excess and 5,000 mile limit.

So I'm really hoping not to claim ( I'm too old to fall off motorcycles ) and save £50, if I claim I'm only £25 down

I did 132 miles of how shall we say "spirited" riding today and used 9.92 litres / £11.00 of petrol = 60.04mpg

She's only a baby 696cc with about 90bhp

Plenty quick enough though :

Measured top speed 132.1 mph
0-1/4 mile     12.01 sec @109.35
0-60 mph      4.01 secs
0-100mph     10.66 secs
60-0 mph      119.5 feet
