New(ish) Camera!

Just agreed to buy my mums old Camera as she just upgraded to a D-SLR (Cannon 500D)

Should give me a bit more flexibility than my F50fd

Must get a new camera sorted . . . the auto lense cover on mine is starting to get a little "sticky".

It ruins pictures if you're not careful.

Been looking at Flash Guns.  Any idea Camera bods?
Fuji don't seem to make them.  

I don't need anything super flashy just something that doesn't point right at the subject (indoor shooting).  Also the camera doesn't have TTL.

Auto lens covers and lenses that motor out of the camera body when you turn them on are the first things to go normally in compact cameras.

My Exilim is well over 6 years old so I've no complaints.

The little motor's fine - the lens cover just gets stuck maybe once every 30-40 power-ups.

I've got a Hammer and some Duck Tape...should be able to fix that no problem
