I remember in the early 80's just after the garages had been built around the city centre, some scrotes had got into one of the carwash machines overnight and tied nuts (as in nut and bolt!) to the brushes. First car in in the morning was a nearly new Daimler Sovereign....... a mate of mine showed it to me in the police compound at Bletchley, written off in under 15 seconds because the body damage was so severe
