Is that mean't to be MK Lightning Vs. Slough Jets? I thought Lightning played at home on a Saturday and away on a Sunday. If it is the Lightning home game then Shifty will be there as he never misses one.

Tut tut! In NHL the Away team is always stated first, as in Slough Jet Vs. Milton Keynes Lightning at MK (insert rink)...

Faceoff is at 7 so plenty of time to get lost again...

Saying that, having looked at the schedule for the jets they do name the home team first. So it should be MK vs SJ...

Yep, will be at this one, try never to miss a home game. After winning both games this weekend lightning are on a roll.

See you there, we'll have to try and meet up. I'm normal found behind the home goal near the home changing rooms.

Will do my best, we normally stick in the away area, just to add to the noise of chants.

Odd one, but does your rink allow air horns? Bought two for the first game after the playoffs and got one honk out of it before being told they are banned. I now only have one and apart from obvious pranking, haven't got much use for it...

Also got on the ice last night for the first time in ages, rusty as heck, and so were my blades!! Couldn't believe it as I normally wipe them after every skate. Got them sharpened now so they're cutting it nice too.

Didn't make it last night sadly, but last 40 secs I heard were awesome!

We've got Guildford home tonight, can't make it either now, but should be a bloody good match as they took on the league table giants Manchester last night and seemingly gave them a good whipping and stole the lead with a game in hand.

Shifty, are you planning on going to the Playoffs in Coventry next year?

Would be surprised...... even if we make it to the playoff's I'll probably not go to be honest with ya.

One of the hardest fought game's I've ever seen, non stop action from beginning to end. You missed out on a good'un fella. I would say a 50:50 game from the start although we were robbed of a win by some poor decision making from the officials.

I know everyone blames the officials but I was stood behind the goal line and one of your goals was definitely not in, and one of our players (nick pool) being called for slashing when HE was on the ice with blood coming from is face, this was right in front of us to and he should have never been called for a penalty.

Still you win some you loose some, was an exceedingly good game though.

Right, the away leg (for you MK'ers) hone for me at Slough.

Will keep you updated on the score, but after our friendly against GB Under 20's on Wednesday all I hope is we don't put our reserve keeper on!

We were leading 4-0 untill he came on, to which the game then ended a 6 all draw!

Doesn't help when the coach of the Away team is the coach of the home team though...

Anyway, SJ vs MK Lightning, game on!!
