Good time to be selling my 4.3 petrol Day Van

Bad article.

First off, oil prices have been rising AND dropping recently (as in last few weeks) and $100 per barrel is a real psychological barrier, even for traders.

Petrol around here is priced between £5.67 and £5.95 per gallon so it would have to be about 35% more than it is now to hit £8 per gallon.

Petrol could rise to £8 per gallon.
It could rise to £80 per gallon.

One day it will be £8 per gallon, but not in the short term.

This is just scare tactics.

If it wasn't kept so artificially high following gulf war after gulf war and leaking oil rigs.  We are only paying for other peoples cock ups....!

Now I have my shiney new LPG conversion I'm miffed that BP have inflated the cost of LPG (can't blame the government, much, this time), which was once a waste product and is not in peak supply status (there is enough natural gas in the earth to last us at least 250 years), as they saw the profit potential.

i filled a plastic gallon can at the petrol station the other day and was astounded when it took £8.25 to brim it

it's wierd, driving an LPG car, the fuel guage never moves, and you become obsessed with the little row of lights
