after a lot of years[7ish] i have decided to retire my likkle nokia 3680whatever[ its so old i dont know what it was...]

i was not really keen on a huge fragile smart phone and being near to a pc most of the time didnt need much interweb access....

how ever on contacting my provider with an intention of jumping ship they made me an offer i could not refuse, a new htc wildfire s,.....

for £7 per month...
i was paying £17 with calls on the old un...




im quite impressed...

yup £7 a month with the handset....

its great when ya ring retentions if your contract is up as they are so desperate to keep existing customers these days...

im with t mobile  who are making full use of the orange network  in sept...

for 7 bucks i got...
200 texts,200 mins unlimited interweb
free calls to landines...

may be all i need ...

i can change the usage now if need be..
as its into the second month....

tbh most of my calls are incoming,

i can call home,parents and businesses for free on land lines.. when im bored in the car...
i cant be arssed textin all day...

all in all it was an offer i couldnt refuse....

What are you trying to do with it? If you just want to get files from the phone such as pictures, just connect it with a USB lead and select 'Mount as a Disk Drive' on your phone. It will then appear on the Mac as a mounted drive.

If you are trying to backup your phone etc - I wouldn't bother, just use your gmail account to sync it all up which backs it all up anyway.

I forgot to say earlier, don't forget to eject the disk/phone before disconnecting the USB lead to save corrupting your card (I am sure you already know this, but just incase....).
